Hey, I'm Mor
I was born on the first day of the Gulf War and grew up hearing a wild story my uncles told me – that I arrived in this world on a missile from Saddam Hussein. It confused me a lot because, wait, wasn’t he the bad guy? And aren’t babies supposed to come from their moms?! I think that’s where my love for mixing reality with imagination and telling stories comes from.
After taking film way too seriously in Thelma Yellin High School of the Arts (so much so that I now teach there), I realized there’s a limit to what you can film, so I chose to study animation at Bezalel Academy Of Arts, with a semester at CalArts, inspired by the great Terry Gilliam. Since then, my work has been featured in galleries and film festivals. These days, I'm part of the Toho Animation Collective.
Over the years, I’ve picked up a bunch of creative skills to express what’s in my head. There are still so many more I want to try. I’ve developed a broad perspective that covers design, storytelling, and production to give your project the best life possible.
Let’s try new things. Let's fly with peace doves instead of missiles.
